Headshots for dancers, actors, singers and young performers in Kent. Calm, unrushed sessions that produce agency-ready images and audition portfolios you'll actually use.
A good headshot is the difference between getting seen and getting passed over. Agencies and casting directors want clean, current, expressive images — and they want them in the right format and crop. I shoot to that brief, not to a stylised portrait that won't survive the upload.
For young performers, the priority is calm. Sessions are unrushed. I get to know the performer, work in short bursts, and let confidence build on camera. By the time we're shooting at the end of the session, you'd never know it was the same person who sat down at the start.
Sessions can run in a calm studio space in Kent, on location for an editorial-style portfolio (London architecture, urban backdrops, theatre venues), or a hybrid of both. Headshots that read as you, not as a generic portrait.
For young performers, parents are welcome on set. For agency-driven sessions, I work to specific brief sheets if your agent provides one.
Slowly and calmly. We chat first, get the gear out of the way, and shoot in short bursts with breaks. Parents are welcome to stay. The aim is for them to come away feeling good about it, not relieved it's over.
Yes. Dance auditions need full body, line and movement shots in addition to a clean headshot. We plan the shoot around what your school or agency expects.
Yes. Studios in Kent, London locations, your dance school's hall — all workable. The location is part of the conversation when we plan the session.
